    Ordered this to season my 14″ pow wok. The smell it produces during an oven seasoning is a little unpleasant, but there was no smoke, and it produced a beautiful bronze initial seasoning that was practically non-stick.

    After using the pan the first time to make three separate stir fry dishes, I cleaned it with water and ran it through another seasoning to fill in the spots the spatula had scraped off, and it worked as well as the first seasoning.

    It worked very well for seasoning my new pow wok and re-seasoning some old cast-iron cookware. It produced a very satisfying color and made an awesome surface for cooking.

    I used a slightly different method to season my wok after cleaning it than the instructions said. Instead of simply drying the wok, applying the flaxseed oil and then baking at 450F, I first baked the wok at ~250F for about a half hour then applied the oil and baked at 450 for an hour. After that, I turned the oven off and left the wok inside of the oven to cool down at the same rate as the oven.

    I ran two cycles of this on the wok and it looks and works amazing.
