Flat perforated disk fits in the wok, water underneath and converts wok into steamer. When steaming fish, smaller items, custard, place food on shallow dish and place dish on rack. For larger items e. g. crab, lobster tails, artichokes, ears of corn, hot dog buns, tortillas, you may place directly on rack. Of course, you need a wok lid to steam. (wok not included)

    Sturdy steamer for wok it is a basic design and nothing special. Being a retired Chef I can say that this product is one that I would endorse without a doubt. I’ve used it for steamed pork buns and pork and crab soup dumplings so far and it passed the test with flying colors. Go buy one now you won’t regret it , I am….
