Flat perforated disk fits in the wok, water underneath and converts wok into steamer. When steaming fish, smaller items, custard, place food on shallow dish and place dish on rack. For larger items e. g. crab, lobster tails, artichokes, ears of corn, hot dog buns, tortillas, you may place directly on rack. Of course, you need a wok lid to steam. (wok not included)

    Fits just fine in my wok and looks like it will be just great for steaming vegetables, seafood, and other foods.
